Who Can Benefit From Chiropractic Care?

Newborns, infants, children, teenagers, adults, and elderly can all benefit from Chiropractic care. Chiropractic helps restore the body’s inborn ability to heal itself and maintain health in people of all ages. Regardless of what condition or what symptoms, if any, a person may have when first entering a chiropractic office; all people have a much better opportunity to reach their health potential if there is no interference with the nervous system.

Chiropractic Health Goals

Chiropractic provides different benefits for people based upon their individual health goals.

A. Condition Based Care targets pain relief and reduces or eliminates the most current conditions or symptoms a person may be experiencing through the removal of vertebral subluxation.

B. Health Enhancement, “Health” care is designed to correct VSC, thus restoring joint mobility, function, and posture to the spine; and it addresses older patterns of VSC that have gone undetected or uncorrected, which then improves spinal health and nervous system integrity.

C. Wellness Care utilizes periodic spinal check-ups and adjustments, when necessary, to enhance the quality and vitality of a person’s life and to allow the body to function at its optimum potential throughout the course of a lifetime.

Spine and nerve malfunction usually result from years of stress and strain to the spine. Unless a patient has recently been under regular chiropractic care, they will probably need to start at the first level of condition-based care to address the most recent spinal subluxations.

“Health” care will then work through the years and “layers” of established subluxations to continue the correction process, slow degenerative changes, and keep the nervous system free from interference.

After the “health” phase is complete, “wellness” care serves the patients by keeping the spine and nervous system functioning at optimum level, maintaining health, enhancing human performance and development.

Chiropractors will perform periodic evaluations and examinations during each phase of care and advise patients when they can progress to the next level.

When is it Appropriate to Recommend Someone to a Chiropractor?

Most people think of visiting a chiropractor if they have back pain, headache, or have suffered an injury in a car accident or fall. These are certainly not the only reasons. Remember that spinal misalignment and VSC can occur without blatant injury or symptoms!

If you want someone you care about to have the best opportunity to live a healthy life, now is the time to recommend chiropractic care.

The sooner that spinal health can be achieved and nerve interference reduced, the better the chances for preventing future problems and achieving optimum function in the body.

Refer those you care about so that they too can experience the benefits of a healthy spine and nervous system through chiropractic care.
